Swan-labelled products
A Scan product has been developed with focus on the environment. Not only with a view to low emission values, but also by deliberately using environmental friendly materials. Therefore we have chosen to have a number of our Scan products labelled with the official Nordic ecolabel, the Swan.
Clean heating with CO2 neutral products
When a product is labelled with the Swan, it means that it is among the cleanest products on the market, and that you can heat with a clean conscience. Wood is a renewable energy source, and the combustion in a clean-burning stove is so efficient that it does not contribute to the green house effect, because the CO2 that is produced during the combustion does not exceed the quantity that is absorbed by the growth of new trees. In a clean-burning product, the energy of the wood is exploited optimally with the lowest possible particle emission.
Clean production
The Swan also makes a number of demands to us as a production company, and this is your guarantee that there is focus on both internal as external environment in the production process. You have the guarantee that there are no toxic heavy metals in the surface treatment, and furthermore there are very strict limits for emission values. Here the demands of the ecolabel go much further than the national legislation.
